JBL launches new in-ear wired, wireless neckband, on-ear wireless, over-ear noise cancelling and true wireless headphones in India

JBL has launched new LIVE 100 in-ear wired, LIVE 200BT wireless neckband, LIVE 400BT and 500BT on-ear wireless, LIVE 650BTNC over-ear noise cancelling and Endurance Peak true wireless headphones in India. The Live Bluetooth headphones are optimized for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, as well as Ambient Aware, TalkThru and offers personalized listening experience via My JBL Headphones App.

Lava Z62 launched in India

Lava International Limited launched its mid-range smartphone Z92 with FullView display, Helio P22 SoC and more in India earlier this year. Today, the company is adding another smartphone to its ‘Z Series’ with the launch of Z62 in India and is the successor to the Z61 Go edition launched last year.
Lava Z62 sports a 6-inch FullView display with 2.5D curved glass and there is no information on the display resolution. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC clocked at 2GHz along with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB through MicroSD. It is 8.85mm thick, runs on Android 9 Pie operating system and is backed up a 3380 mAh battery.
Regarding the optics, Lava Z62 sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP camera with front facing flash as well along with different modes like AI Photo Studio, Professional Mode etc. Additionally, it has support for Face Unlock, OTG and comes in Midnight Blue and Space Blue colour options.

Sanyo 32-inch HD and 43-inch Full HD Nebula series Smart TVs launched in India

Panasonic’s Sanyo has launched new 32-inch HD Ready and 43-inch Full HD Smart TVs in the Nebula series in India. These have YouTube, Netflix, Android Mirroring, In-Plane Switching (IPS) display technology, Fast Cast and Android Mirroring.

The Sanyo Nebula series 32-inch HD Ready and 43-inch Full HD Smart LED TVs are priced at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 22,999 respectively and are available from Amazon.in.

Kodak XPRO 43-inch and 49-inch Full HD Smart LED TVs launched in India

Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd. who is the brand licensee of Kodak launched its LED TV Range in India back in 2016. The company introduced various TVs in its lineup and now is expanding its portfolio with the launch of 43-inch and 49-inch FULL HD Smart LED TVs in India.

Kodak has launched two Smart LED TVs and the 49-inch model carries the model number 50FHDXPRO. It flaunts a 49-inch FULL HD 16:9 display with a resolution of 1920 x  1080 pixels, 178-degree viewing angle, 300 nits brightness and thin bezels. The TV has dimensions of 1110 x 110 mm and weighs 12.2 kg without the stand and 12.3 kg with the stand.
It is powered by a dual-core CORTEX A53 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage. It has a built-in Wi-Fi(2.4GHz), runs on Android 5.1 operating system with KodakSmart Wall and the physical ports for connectivity include LAN, 2  
The 43-inch TV from Kodak, on the other hand, flaunts a 43-inch FULL HD 16:9 display with a resolution of 1920 x  1080 pixels, 178-degree viewing angle, 600 nits brightness, 60Hz refresh rate and thin bezels. The TV has dimensions of 970 x 100 mm and weighs 7.7 kg without the stand and 7.8 kg with the stand.
It is powered by a quad-core dual-core CORTEX A53 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 1 GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage. It has a built-in Wi-Fi(2.4GHz), runs on Android 7.1 operating system with KodakSmart Wall and the physical ports for connectivity include LAN, 2  

Oraimo Airbuds True Wireless Earbuds launched in India

TRANSSION Holdings’s smart accessories brand oraimo today launched ‘Airbuds’ True Wireless Earbuds. oraimo Airbuds features Bluetooth 5.0, has a secure fit, comes with portable charging case and more.
The True Wireless Earbuds from oraimo carries the model number OEB-E99D and has dimensions of 8.2 x 4.4 x 3.2 cm and weighs 81.6 g. It features Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and has a talk range of 10m. It comes with 50mAh battery and the company claims six hours of playtime and also adds that it can provide 24 hours of music playtime and 100 hours of standby with the portable charging case.
The Airbuds have a secure fit with customizable fitting earbuds and the company claims that the Airbuds feature superior sound quality for music and calls. The company also provided 1 year warranty for this true wireless earbuds.
oraimo Airbuds is priced at Rs. 2999 and is available to buy on Amazon India. But now, it is currently selling on Amazon for Rs. 2799.

POCO F1 6GB + 64GB gets a limited period price cut in India

Xiaomi’s POCO launched the  F1, the company’s first smartphone in India back in August last year starting at Rs. 20,999, later in December it got a permanent price cut to Rs. 19,999 and the . Now the company has announced a limited time price cut for POCO F1 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, which is available from both Flipkart and Mi.com at Rs. 17,999.
The limited-period price cut is available only till June 9th, said the company. The company has not announced price cuts for other versions of the phone.
Xiaomi’s Redmi brand is planning to launch the Redmi 20 and Redmi 20 Pro smartphones in India next month, so POCO F2 is expected to launch only by the end of Q3 this year.

Nokia 2.2 Android One phone India

HMD Global just launched the Nokia 2.2, the company’s latest budget Android One smartphone and the successor of last year’s Nokia 2.1 in India, as expected. It packs a 5.71-inch HD+ screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 12nm SoC with up to 3GB RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with 2 years of Android and 3 years of security updates, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with AI low-light feature, HDR and an 5-megapixel camera on the front with support for Face Unlock, but it doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor.

The phone also comes with a dedicated Google Assistant Button, has dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots and packs a 3000mAh removable battery. The company will also sell changeable Nokia Xpress-on covers in Pink Sand, Ice Blue and Forest Green colors.

The Nokia 2.2 comes in Steel and Tungsten Black colors, is priced at Rs. 6999 for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs Rs. 7999. This is limited-period pricing till June 30th, 2019, after which it will increase, says the company. Redmi Y3 goes on open sale in India

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched theRedmi Y3 smartphone in India in April, and the phone went on sale for the first time starting April 30th through Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting at Rs. 9999. It was sold every Tuesdays after that, now the phone is available through open sale after one month of launch. 

LG W-Series smartphone launching soon in India

LG Electronics has been dormant for quite some time in the budget and mid-range smartphone market in India. But, it seems to change soon as LG and Amazon have posted teaser regarding the launch of new LG W-series smartphone and is expected to take directly on Samsung’s ‘M’ series smartphones.
Amazon India has posted a teaser of a new upcoming LG smartphone under ‘Amazon Specials’ section. The teaser image says “W FOR THE WIN, Coming Soon” along with some key features of the smartphone.
LG ‘W’ series smartphone will come with a notch display and the company says that the notches can be customized on display according to the user’s preference. It will sport AI-enabled triple rear cameras with various modes like normal, front camera selfie, portrait, night mode, wide angle, bokeh and more. The triple rear camera setup is likely to be a combination of a regular lens, wide angle lens and a lens for capturing portrait mode photos.
The ‘Notify Me’ page has gone live on Amazon.in, and there is no release date available yet. We will update the post once we have more information.

OPPO K1 gets a price cut in India

OPPO launched the midrange K1 smartphone in India earlier this year at Rs. 16990. The smartphone sports an AMOLED display, is powered by Snapdragon 660, in-display fingerprint scanner and more. After nearly four months of launch, now, OPPO K1 has got a price cut in India and it is available at revised price starting today.
OPPO K1 was launched at Rs. 16990 and now it has received a Rs. 2000 price cut. After the price cut, the smartphone is now selling for Rs. 14990. It comes in only a single variant i.e., 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and this is the first time the smartphone is receiving a price cut.
OPPO K1 is sold on Flipkart.

Daiwa D32SBAR 32-inch Smart LED TV launched in India

Daiwa, the company known for its wide range of televisions in India, today has launched a new 32-inch Smart LED TV with built-in soundbar. It comes with Quantum Luminit technology and a dedicated ‘Cricket Picture’ mode to provide an enhanced cricket viewing experience for users.
Daiwa’s latest television carries the model number D32SBAR and sports a 32-inch HD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and 300 Nits brightness. Daiwa is using Quantum Luminit Technology with a Wide Color Gamut on this television.
The TV is powered by a 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 Quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 8 Oreo with access to Play Store and other Android apps. The physical ports include 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, Optical Output, Wi-Fi and LAN.
It comes with a dedicated ‘Cricket Picture’ mode for an enhanced cricket viewing experience with surround sound and enhanced picture quality. This television also features a built-in soundbar for enhanced sound.

Infinix Xband 3 launched in India

Infinix has launched Xband 3 (XB03), the company’s latest fitness tracker in India. It has 0.96-inch color screen that displays icons for different functions. It lets you monitor your heart rate, blood oxygen and blood pressure levels, says the company. The fitness band is IP67 rated for water resistance against accidental splashes and dust.
The strap is made of soft TPU material that is comfortable to wear and it can hold up to 7 Days of workout data, says  the company.
The Infinix Xband 3 comes in Black color, is priced at Rs. 1599 and is available from Flipkart.

Xiaomi launches 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i Blue World Cup Edition in India

Xiaomi launched the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i in India back in 2017. Last year it launched the Red Edition of the power bank, and today it has launched the Blue Edition in the country for the Cricket World Cup 2019 that’s happening in England. The ‘Made in India’ power bank has a sleek anodized aluminum alloy body and comes with two-way fast charging.

The 10000mAh Mi Powerbank 2i Blue World Cup Edition is already on sale on mi.com for Rs. 999, which is Rs. 100 more than the Black and Red Edition.

Motorola schedules an event in India on June 20

Motorola just sent out an invitation that says that it will launch a new premium device on June 20th. The company doesn’t give a hint of what to expect, but it is likely the One Vision  Android One smartphone that was introduced at an event in Brazil last month. It has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 21:9 aspect ratio CinemaVision LCD screen with a 25-megapixel in-screen camera with 1.8µm Quad Pixel technology for sharper selfies in low-light, is powered by new Exynos 9609 processor and runs Android Pie.

It has a 48-megapixel rear camera with new Night Vision mode, OIS and also Quad Pixel technology that combines four pixels into one large 1.6µm pixel for an incredibly sharp 12 MP photos with improved brightness and reduced image noise. There is also a secondary 5-megapixel camera. It has a 4D Corning Gorilla Glass back with gradient finish, features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a  3500mAh battery that promises one day of battery life, and the 15W TurboPower fast charging offers up to 7 hours of usage in just 15 minutes of charging.

Fossil Sport Smartwatch launched in India

Fossil has launched its Sport Smartwatch powered Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform running WearOS by Google in India. It was introduced back in November last year and feature new battery saving mode, enhanced ambient mode, integrated heart rate sensor, NFC, and GPS capabilities.

The Fossil Sport comes in two case sizes; 41 and 43 mm, and packs 350 mAh battery with Rapid Charging support that offers one day’s battery life in the full smartwatch experience, and the new battery saving mode adds additional two days of telling time. Up to 80% in one hour with rapid charging. It runs on WearOS by Google with options like Quick Swipe, faster access to information, receive proactive help from the Google Assistant and get smarter health coaching from Google Fit.

The Fossil Sport Smartwatch comes in Smokey Blue, Black, Gray and Blush colors, is priced at Rs. 17,995 and is available for purchase on fossil.in, Fossil retail stores and other partner channels across India.

Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro launching in India within 6 weeks

After teasing the launch of its Redmi K20 series even before they were announced, Xiaomi India head and VP Manu Jain today confirmed that both the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones will launch in India within 6 weeks, which is sometime in early July.

Noise has launched Barrel, the company’s new on-ear Bluetooth headphones that connects to devices using Bluetooth 4.2. These have soft faux leather ear-cups and a padded headband that promises comfortable listening for long hours. The compact foldable design makes them easy to carry in a bag or backpack as well. It has  large 40mm speaker drivers for loud and clear audio output.

It has a 180mAh battery the promises 6 hours of listening time and up to 50 hours of standby time. The headphones come with an inbuilt microphone and controls for music and calls on the headset.
The Noise Barrel on-ear phones come in Black color, costs Rs. 1499 and will be available from gonoise.com starting tomorrow, June 4th.
