Xiaomi rolls out final iteration of MIUI 10 for Redmi Note 3

Redmi Note 3 launched back in the year 2016, which paved the way for making Xiaomi, India’s No. 1 smartphone brand. The device is almost three years old now and hence, in December, Xiaomi announced that MIUI 10.2 will be the last update for the Redmi Note 3 and Mi 5.

MIUI 10.2 is rolling out now for Redmi Note 3 & users can update the same through the updater app. The update will be rolling out to all phones in the next 2-3 days.

The update changelog is as as follows:

Fix: Updated Android security patch
Phone
Fix: UI elements for switching between cameras during video calls were displayed incorrectly
Lockscreen, Status Bar, Notification Bar
Fix: The button that returns you to an ongoing call overlapped with times
Fix: Couldn’t restrict floating notifications
Fix: Couldn’t use fingerprint to unlock the device when it was locked during a call
Fix: The earphone icon sometimes disappeared
Fix: Scrolling screenshots didn’t always work properly
Recorder
Fix: Recording status wasn’t updated in the Notification shade when a recording was paused
